ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Some stories begin at a desk. This one begins on a trail.
We start outside — walking the Cowee grounds with journal and pen, observing, collecting impressions, and letting the world do what it does. Then we come back inside and bind it.
You will learn to hand-stitch your own Coptic-bound journal — an ancient bookbinding technique dating to 2nd-century Egypt — using natural and recycled materials, guided by published fantasy author Nita Lipan.
No writing experience needed. No crafting experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
